About Michael Shevack.
Michael Shevack has lectured in Spirituality and “the experience called ‘God’” around the world. He has taught Spirituality and Comparative Religion at Stony Brook University (SUNY) and lectured in Business Spirituality at Lehigh University. His column on Business Spirituality appeared in Success magazine. He’s had a private practice in spiritual, pastoral, and executive coaching for over twenty years.
The author of seven books, the previous Director of Communications at the Center for Christian-Jewish Understanding at Sacred Heart University, Shevack’s been relentless in furthering inter-religious dialogue especially between Christians, Jews, Muslims and others. He was recently elected a Trustee for United Religions Initiative, the largest grassroots inter-religious movement in the world. He is an active practitioner of meditation, yoga, and other spiritual arts and is the co-founder of the new Alliance for Enlightened Religion.
Prior to his ordination as a rabbi, Shevack was a “Mad Man”. He wrote Gillette. The Best A Man Can Get, in over 120 countries. For his work on Apple computers he received the coveted Cannes Lion. Armed with the tools of a Creative Director, he’s always engaged in helping religions, spiritual movements, and worthy enterprises, around the world, find their voice.
Michael is married to artist Teddy Frank and has two sons, Christian, Adam, and one daughter, Zoe, who with the help of son-in-law Peter, has just expanded the family with two grandchildren, Pierson and Noa.
