GODSEARCH

Experience the Truth

Michael Shevack

  • Welcome to the experience called “God”.

    Hi, I’m Michael Shevack.

There’s a Mystery we all live in. It is Life. “God” is another word for it. There’s another Mystery we live in. It is Truth. “God” is another word for that too.

No one is an expert about Life. No clergy, no therapist, no philosopher, no popular teacher, no scientist, no politician, no pundit, no judge. Certainly not me. No one!  No one can own the Truth. Truth can’t be proven to exist. But no spiritual or scientific fact has ever been discovered without assuming Truth exists. This is not blind faith. This is objective fact.

Science and religion are both ways of studying and learning about God; there is no contradiction. They’re just two different “lenses” we put on Life to reveal different kinds of knowledge about God. Music, literature, mathematics, poetry, dance, psychology, medicine, are other “lenses” we put on Life. All our God-knowledge is based upon human experience, observation and understanding of Life.  Scriptures are fundamentally “just” recordings of human experiences in Life, seen through a “spiritual lens”.

A real, authentic Godsearch is based upon experience of Life – not mere “belief”, “faith”, or some religious “authority”.

You are your most important spiritual guide. You’re already having an experience of God, by just being you.

Do you have a question about God?  Go ahead. Just ask it. That’s how your Godsearch begins.

Do you have a question about God after a tragedy, like the death of a child?  I’ve lived that question, sadly. Does your birth religion feel empty, prejudiced, even dumb? I’ve lived that question, painfully. How do you discover God? I started out with no conscious relationship with God, until I had so many uncanny, inexplicable experiences, I was forced to be open, or, at least, not be shut.

How do you deepen the religion you inherited? How do you widen your spiritual experiences? I’ve lived these questions, into a ripe old age. There are tried and true methodologies. Happy to help.

Maybe you’re a fiercely-devoted Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Jew, Hindu, and many other noble religious varieties? Maybe you’re a humanist, atheist or agnostic?  Maybe you burst into awareness through a spiritual or “new age” teaching, or cracked open a “door” to Higher Worlds through meditation or other spiritual practices? Or, maybe you live your own ordinary, day-to-day life, with no fancy religious or spiritual stuff, and simply sense its Wonder, it’s Awe!

There is no more excellent Godsearch than your very own life. That’s what your life is!

Every life is a sacred Godsearch to experience more Life, more Truth – more GOOD.

Want more GOOD? That’s the experience called “God”.

If you search for Life’s meaning, intelligently and compassionately, with freedom of conscience and respect for others, you’ll discover for yourself the experience called “God”. But sadly, the word “God” has all too often been used poisonously. It causes guilt, pain, shame and suffering. It becomes weapon for lethal, oppressive, cults – religious or political. It twists and mangles human hearts, minds and bodies, often with good intentions.

We are suffering these days, because of the ignorant abuse of the word “God”!

    Trust your doubt!

On our Godsearch, we’re not going to avoid the hard stuff: The political challenge of conservative religion. The massive disappearance of organized religions. The dangers of scientific materialism. The return of “pagan” religions.  Sexual and Gender diversity. The politics of “salvation”, including abortion, “creationism”. Evolution and global warming. Once you start your Godsearch, you’ll soon realize:

Wherever there’s a conflict, there’s always missing knowledge.

Wherever there’s a conflict, a “piece” of God is missing.

Let’s search for the Whole Truth, together.

Godsearch is about unveiling the Divine Truth which is Life.  Yes, there is Truth!  Everything else is just “opinion”.  Only with a sincere Godsearch, can we move beyond today’s “opinion-ocracy”, a dangerous contemporary media disease.

Our World needs God!  The Real One. Not nonsense.

Are you open to the experience called “God”? You are!  Because Godsearch is what you are doing right now. You’re living the Mystery. You’re alive.

    What’s your Godsearch

Uncover it. Recover it. Discover it.

    Thanks so much for listening.
